The club house was packed with about 200 people. We were seated and then served a great breakfast. The people we sat with were all friendly and helpful.
Ron was trying to get some insight on what the attraction is here for people to stay for extended periods of time. The common denominator was that people wanted to develop friendships and be in a place that offered onsite activities and time away from cold winters. Many of the people we spoke with are here for 6 months, some coming here for 22 years! Ron is still not ready to settle down yet so we will continue to move on down the road.
After breakfast we walked the park then took Jewel out for her minimal stroll in the restricted dog area.
Why Can't I Keep Going MOM!!!! |
By noon the rain rolled in and did not stop all day. One resident told us this has been an unusual year with all the rain and blames it on El Nino
Tomorrow is the Super Bowl and there is a party planned in the Club house. Not sure if we will attend or just watch in the MH. Hopefully we will get out to do some activity if the rain ever lets up.
We did book a week at the Southern Air RV Resort in Thonotosassa, Florida after we leave here. We are trying to explore areas we haven't been to but the weather is not cooperating!
