Day 3 - January 1 , 2016 " Happy New Year!" Best Holiday TRAV-L-PARK, Hamilton County Tennessee

After a good night's sleep we were up and on the road by 8 am. Not as early as yesterday but still early for us. 

The last two days have been overcast and COLD!. Despite heading south we have not experienced any warmth - not even a little sun!



It was an uneventful driving day (only 300 miles today) so we opted to pack it in early and get a CG. We were settled in at the Best Holiday TRAV-L-PARK by 2:30 pm.

We were surprised at how cold it is but the woman at the desk told us this wasn't so bad compared to the weather they have been experiencing. I guess they had 6 inches of rain in one day and the CG across the street is still under several feet of water. 



It was nice to open up the MH and have some room to move around. After eating my homemade turkey pie for dinner we settled in for the night. Once again we were in bed early and enjoying the quiet.
