Day 5 January 3, 2016 Fort Pickens CG, Gulf Islands National Seashore, Santa Rosa, Florida

It was extremely quiet at the CG last night. No traffic , no lights, no dogs barking. Just QUIET! It was  cold with the temp dropping to 32 degrees. We are grateful for our heat pumps because without them it would cost us a fortune in propane.

We arrived at Fort Pickens by 1 pm, secured our site and were set up by 1:30 pm. Ron wanted to catch the Patriot's game but it didn't appear to be televised here. Our TV wasn't working so Ron worked something out to listen to  it on his computer. (Thank you Tiffanie) I could hear the commentators and Ron moaning. The game was pretty sad , but being a die-hard Pats fan he couldn't stop listening. LOL

Looks like Snow - Just sugar white Sand!

After the game we took a long walk and sat out in the glorious sun. It was 68 degrees and just beautiful. Not much doing today but relaxing and enjoying the weather here on the gulf.

Tomorrow will be a work day - cleaning the MH and hopefully Ron will be able to resurrect the TV.
