Day 4 - January 2, 2016 - Travel Day to Owassa Lake CG, Evergreen, Alabama

Today we opted to take it slow and not rush out of the CG. After relaxing for a while we left around 10 am. It was another uneventful driving day with our destination -Evergreen, Alabama - a 328 mile drive. 

We arrived at the CG to find no one there to check us in. Just  "pick a site" the sign said. So we did! Our first choice had something wrong with the electricity (none) so we had to move to another site. About 30 minutes after we arrived the owner came to collect the fee. Ron chose this CG because it is a Passport America CG and at half price $18.00 for the night with full hook-ups. Such a good deal.

Once settled in I went  on-line and booked 7 days at Fort Pickens CG in Pensacola, Fla. The weather looks like it will be good - around 65 degrees and we love it there so was a good choice for us - I hope!

This CG is pretty empty and very quiet. Just what we like. Tomorrow we will get to Florida and our adventure begins.
